Profiles


This function allows you to save your search criteria as a profile. Profiles can be retreived to perform a search as needed, and to create reports using the saved search criteria.

To save your Search Criteria as a profile:

  1. Define some search criteria using the Specify New ORPS Database Search Criteria or the OR Number Search screens.

  2. After the criteria are fully defined, click the Save This Search Criteria as a Profile command button from either one of these screens.

    The Profile (ORPS Saved Search Criteria) screen will be displayed, as shown in below:

  3. Enter a name for the new profile into the Save Profile As edit box, and click the Save Profile As command button.

    The new profile will be added to the Available Profiles list to the left of the edit field.

To modify a search profile:

  1. Select a search profile from the Available Profiles list.

  2. Click the Modify Current Database Search Criteria command button.

    The Specify New ORPS Database Search Criteria or OR Number Search screen that was used to create the selected profile will be displayed with the saved search criteria.

  3. Make changes as required, and resave the profile.

To perform a search and prepare a report using a saved profile:

  1. Click the Search Using Saved Profile button on the Specify New ORPS Database Search Criteria or OR Number Search screens.

    The Saved Search Criteria screen will be displayed, as shown above.

  2. Highlight a saved profile from the Available Profiles list, and click the Finished Searching - Go To Report Options command button.

    The Report Options screen will be displayed.

  3. Click the Prepare Report command button on the Report Options screen.
