ORPS Authority (and Facility) Search and Report


The ORPS Authority Search and Report module allows you to generate a listing of all personnel who have Facilities Manager (FM), Program Manager (PM), or Facilities Representative (FREP) authority within the ORPS system.

To Generate the Authority Report:

  1. Select Authorities from the ORPS Main Menu.

    The ORPS Authority Search and Report screen will be displayed, as shown below:

  2. Highlight search criteria from the scrolling lists by clicking with the left mouse button. To make more than one selection, hold down the [Ctrl] key while selecting the options.

  3. Select the Authority radio button to generate a list of personnel and associated authorities.

    Select Facility to create a list of facilities associated with selected Area Offices, Field Offices, or Contractors.

  4. Click the Search button to generate the Authorities Report.

The Authority Report displays sign-off authority information for each facility specified by the search, and includes the Operations / Field Office, Area Office, Secretarial Office(s), and Contractor(s) associated with the facility. In addition, the names and phone numbers of those people with sign-off authority are listed. The following acronyms, representing sign-off level of authority, are displayed next to the names:

The Facilities report is shown in the sample below. This report displays the organizational structure (hierarchy) for facilities selected in the authority search (see graphic below).

Secretarial OfficeHighlight one or more selections from the Secretarial Office dropdown menu to include Secretarial Office-level personnel in your Authorities Report. To select more than one, press the Ctrl button as you click with the left mouse button. To include all selections from a list, highlight Any.
Operational Office Highlight one or more selections from the Operational Office dropdown menu to include Operational Office personnel in your Authorities Report. To select more than one, press the Ctrl button as you click with the left mouse button. To include all selections from a list, highlight Any
Area OfficeHighlight one or more selections from the Area Office dropdown menu to include Area Office-level personal in your Authorities Report. To select more than one, press the Ctrl button as you click with the left mouse button. To include all selections from a list, highlight Any.
FacilityHighlight one or more selections from the Facility dropdown menu to include Facility-level personnel in your Authorities Report. To select more than one, press the Ctrl button as you click with the left mouse button. To include all selections from a list, highlight Any.
ContractorHighlight one or more selections from the Contractor dropdown menu to include Contractor personnel in your Authorities report. To select more than one, press the Ctrl button as you click with the left mouse button. To include all selections from a list, highlight Any.
Facility or Authority Report?Select the Authority radio button to generate the ORPS Authority Report. Select the Facility radio button to generate the Facility Report.
